Description This is a unusual red flowering form of Cross Vine. It flowers profusely in early Spring and occasionally in Summer. The flowers provide the nectar for early migrating hummingbirds as well as Butterflies. In colder weather the foliage turns a plum color and persists till hard freezes. This drought tolerant vine prefers growing in sunny locations.
