Description
Boynton's Oak is a dwarf white oak that is native to sandstone outcrops that are rich in iron. Grows in shallow soils that are exposed to high drought conditions and is tolerant of limestone outcrop soils where few other trees can survive. The undersides of the leaves are covered with dense golden hairs. This is very rare oak.
