Description
This is another cool oak species that rarely used in landscapes but deserves much more respect by landscapers. It can grows 8' High, spending most of its energy colonizing up to 10' Wide. Considered a small shrub that reaches only 5' in height normally. The great thing about this Oak species is that it prefers dry sunny locations. The leaves are evergreen eleven months of the year and similar to the Live Oak. It produces abundance of small acorns that are a favorite of quail and turkey.
