Velvety, silvery green foliage that dies back to the ground in winter in the upper part of its range. It prefers moist wet locations but will do well in upland soils once established. It is a favorite of the Phoenix moth and hummingbirds. Matures at 7'High x 8'Wide in moist conditions.
