Description
Another wonderful native grass that is under utilized in landscapes today, this is a tough perennial bunch grass that is the state grass of Oklahoma. It has blue green leaves and stalks 3-8'Tall with plume-like brown seed heads that grow 8"Long depending on conditions. It is a great grass for its seed production and has bountiful benefits for wildlife. Looks nice in both as a single plant or large group plantings.
Notes
We have a new selection of this species that we call 'N3 silver warrior' with beautiful silver foliage and dark golden yellow flowers. These are sold in the 1 gal. size for $12.00.
