Description
Another beautiful native perennial that is threatened. Only native to the deep south. It has a scatter distribution with small isolated populations in NC., SC., GA. and Ala. Bright yellow 3" wide flowers are genetically programed to follow the sun through the course of each day like a mobile solar panel. This rare Rudbeckia is a prized species and rewards the gardener with many bright yellow flowers on a robust plant. Sunfacing Coneflower is very drought tolerant once established and it reseeds freely in favorable habitats. Our seed source is from the very small NW Georgia population. Mature size is approximately 2' wide x 3' tall.
